Rethinking the Possibilities in the Vegetable Garden

I now realize that I love seed collections. Especially ones that include seed suggestions for new varieties that never would have come up on my radar. The Seeds of Change collections are especially motivating. With spring so close, spring greens and lettuce varieties reside at the front of my brain. And, BTW, Seeds of Change specializes in organic, open-pollinated varieties. My kind of seed peeps.

The one that has my attention this morning?! Their European Greens Medley Seed Collection . It includes Bellesque Endive, Wild Garden Chicory, Early Palla Rossa Radicchio, Garden Sorrel, Brune D'Hiver Buttercos Lettuce, Bloomsdale Spinach, Val D'Orge Butterhead Lettuce, Rouge deGrenoblouse Crisphead Lettuce, Persian Garden Cress and Roquette Arugula. Imagine all of the different textures and colors in your lettuce bed! Or, maybe, your portable, container-friendly salad box.
