Rainy and cold here today, so I went to see a matinee of Miss Potter - the somewhat new movie about Beatrix Potter.

Such a cool story and a great escape. I find slow moving English films, with beautiful scenery and landscapes, especially soothing. It captures the interesting details of her life, her books, what she did for land conservation in England, her love of the natural world, her imagination. I'm now curious about this biography.

I might, just might, take a different stand with my own mischievous garden bunnies this year.
