In my container garden. Tucked away among the herbs, lounging in that Adirondack chair, with a cat napping on my lap . . . watching the world of the Hollow go by. One cloud at a time.
But I need to work to support my garden habit. Meh. A fair trade. Onward.
Today's container garden cast of characters: Scaevola, petunias, lobelia, helichrysum, pale pink impatiens, hosta, lime green potato vine, lavenders, black-eyed susan vine, sages, mints, lemon verbena, boxwoods, ferns, snapdragons, asparagus fern . . .

That deck is lovely. So peaceful. I'd rather be there too!
Wish I could be sniffing those herbs...I finally ran into lemon verbena at our farmers market ...absolute heaven!
Oh my gosh, Tracey, you are so sweet! I missed this posting over the summer somehow and just saw it when I was looking for something else (actually, I was looking up your posting on the glass house/terrarium thing; I was telling my sister-in-law who is visiting for Christmas about it because she loves them. Going to send her your blog link. Now you're going to Colorado!! :o) ). I love the container gardening pictures!! So colorful, so relaxing. And I love getting ideas from what other people plant. I hope you see this since it's a comment on such an old post. Thank you! Hope you're having a wonderful Christmas.

I know this is going to sound kinda strange but.......
I am in LOVE with your blue bird bath! Where in the world did you find one in that color??? Love it. Want one like it!
Natasha - Ah, yes. The blue bird bath. It was on my wish list for sooo long. I bought it at a local nursery (here in Virginia) - during a mid-winter sale. I bet if you started haunting the pottery sections of nurseries, you'll find something!
