A Sugar Hollow Barn Steeped In History


This barn is on the property kinda-sorta-adjacent to ours.

Back during World War II, German POWs were housed in barracks behind the barn (the concrete foundations still remain) and put to work in the fields and orchards. Picking peaches and apples during their 'imprisonment.'

In The Hollow?! Yes. Oh, if these foothills could talk . . .
