It was a year of experiments in our vegetable patch. Rhubarb, Easter Egg radishes, snap peas, salad greens, potatoes, a few surviving tomato plants and some volunteers in the way of melons and cucumbers. I also learned a little more about compost, the gold of mulched leaves and different raised-bed crops.
Next year . . . fencing for (against?) tomato-loving deer, a more established herb garden and okra!
