They Really Tie the Room Together
I was beyond excited when I realized that we could have a red room in our house. And then, Corey designed this huge, sun-drenched window with a window seat area. Heaven.
With this being a south facing window - I realized I could try out a few new plants. I was all wobbly-kneed with glee when I went plant shopping on Sunday. The little tiered pottery piece will eventually be filled with succulent cuttings - from the mama plants that live on our deck right now.
I've been finding myself dreaming about this room while I'm at work. Waiting to be released so I can get back to it in the evenings . . .

So beautiful! A cup of tea, a good book, and some knitting -- I wouldn't move from there ...
Yes, Ann! You nailed it. ALL of those things. Thanks for your thoughts . . .
This...is exactly...the type of window I want! Now I have a photo to show hubby.
It's incredible.
And you choose the most perfect plants for those spots.
What other colors do you have on your walls?
Thanks so much corgidogmama and missficklemedia!
MFM - We went pretty bold around the house - Red, dark green, buttery yellow, a dark blue, a delft blue and a periwinkle for our bedroom. C thinks there are too many blues - yet I am drooling over a robin's egg blue for our downstairs bathroom. It will be a tough sell - :)
