Blustery

Twenty two inches of snow is a lot of snow for our parts.

But we are more than making do . . . lots of soup making, baking, knitting and radio listening alongside typical weekend chores. Nothing like an act of nature to make you shift gears and get the right home-front pace going - without the pull of the outside world and its distractions.

Happy snow days and happy solstice!

Beautiful! Even more so in your yard and thankfully not mine. We dodged the bullet that the rest of the state got, but if you like it please enjoy.

Have a merry Christmas!

Big J and I were just saying the same thing -- it's been nice not to be able to go anywhere, just stay home, play games, sit by the fire, play in the snow, warm up with hot toddies, and not be caught up in the hustle and bustle that usually characterizes the last few days before Christmas.

Happy holidays!

Beautiful but you really got a lot. Wow.Those indoor chores get accomplished on days like that where you stay indoors in the warmth.
Happy Holidays to you and yours.

Great pics! I love the one with the red house against the snow and the puppy walking down the shoveled section. Very cute!
