Seed Lust - Part II

Southern Exposure Seed Exchange
Flowers, Vegetables, Herbs
Mineral, VA

Gardeners in the mid-Atlantic states take heart! Southern Exposure Seed Exchange specializes in heirloom and open-pollinated seeds for our area and, subsequently, has given me the courage to try a few new vegetable varieties in our garden. Okra, peanuts, southern-style greens, ginseng and PAGES of tomatoes. And something new that has peaked my interest . . . wonderberry. Sounds like all the fixin's that go into a church social out of a satisfying Southern gothic novel.

Their catalog also offers a really helpful planting dates chart for the area - broken down by seed/bulb/transplant and the regions - mountains/inland plains/coastal.
