Huzzah! The Container Garden Takes Off - On The Cheap

This weekend - I will be making two container garden shopping sprees/trips. The first will be to a local greenhouse for some annuals, veggies and herbs. The second will be to an annual native plant sale at a nearby natural area.

I need to stay calm. Remain focused. And try to savor every last minute of these outings without going haywire through sensory overload.

So, this year, I am going to fool myself into sticking to a budget. With a mental wish list. I am also realistically going into this with the understanding that I will still come home with two or three outliers.

I feel pretty good about money spent this year so far on the container garden. Starting plants from seeds and cuttings is usually rewarding and always cheeeeeaaap!

Good luck sticking to the budget. :).
I am planning a flower shopping trip on Friday. I have a list, but I realize that once I am live with the plants, that list is useless.

Hi Katie!
Well, just returned from my first trip . . . Heh. Heh. Ah, well . . . I guess I don't need to explain to you what happened. Not as bad as last year, though! Progress!
