We Did This Today :: Sugar Snap Peas

I love how the seed packet explains that you should sow your pea seeds 'as soon as the soil can be worked.' Check! After our long winter, we happily tromped through some snow to get to the raised beds and the loose, dark soil. Willa was a complete natural - tossing them in and poking each seed down with her little pointer finger. What makes me especially happy about how this gardening cycle works is that Willa gobbles up sugar snap peas like there is no tomorrow. She'll plant them, she'll pluck them, she'll eat them. Nice.

Yum, yum! I love snappy peas (as we call them). I attempted to grow them last year - and got a total of One (1) pea. It was delicious! haha
