Daylight Savings Smish Smash

Not much happening in the garden - because I have been too busy eating Daisy's chocolate cream puffs, setting up house (and repeatedly cleaning the house), reading, hunting down thrifted treasures, watching the leaves turn, keeping up with routine/work and laughing with Willa May (her comedic timing is killer).

I admire this blog and the artist's work so much. (Thank you to Leora, for introducing her to me.)

I read this book, twice. It was the mental adjustment I needed to continue to be okay with my day job (and find ways to be totally thankful for it).

Soup season is on. This post has me thinking of new concoctions (I am curious about the miso with a poached egg) - and a friend's white bean chili has me hooked. (I ditched the chicken to make mine vegetarian.)

Brambly Hedge!

Corey bought me The Complete Series of Freaks and Geeks for my birthday. Words cannot cover how happy this makes me.

Watch this! It will make you smile. (And maybe dance?)

Also loving - Radiohead's covers of Neil Young. (I especially like the 2003 version of "After the Gold Rush" going into "Everything in Its Right Place.")

I actually am getting ready to plant spring blooming bulbs and have cleaned out my Wardian case for new winter ferns, carpets of moss and indoor gardening efforts. So, see? I do plan to take a break from eating chocolate cream puffs.
